We study the cultivation, processing, and application of microalgae and macroalgae for various purposes including biofuel production, carbon capture, and bioremediation.

Biochemical Engineering

We focus on the design and optimization of biological processes for industrial applications, including fermentation, bioprocessing, and downstream processing.
