This study focuses on developing engineered living photosynthetic biocomposites that can intensify CO2 capture

I still can’t believe my eyes that my name is on “Scientific Reports” (T1, IF: 4.996 (2021)), open access journal from the publishers of Nature! This is crazy!! Just Published

This research work is from my last Ph.D. thesis chapter and it took such a long time (a few years) to be published, but it is worth the wait. This work cannot be done without all my supervisors and my colleague Elliot Sharp who patiently formulated all the coatings.

This study focuses on developing engineered living photosynthetic biocomposites that can intensify CO2 capture. We managed to make the biocomposites lasted more than two months without additional nutrients. Let’s hope that we can help to offset our emissions with these tiny living sponges.
